I don't want to even talk about how much I pine after the old card catalogs. PINE--with yearning. They may be a large reason why I'm going to library school. Maybe.
I visited your blog today, and I saw you on sweet Frenchie's blog. I think that is great that you and your husband knew eachother in first grade! I met my husband when I was very young too - 16, and we've been married for 31 years. What caught my eye when I was reading, is that it seems that you want to enjoy the simple pleasures in life, and you sound like you have a grateful heart. I loved that very much. Me and my daughters just started a new blog, and we would love it if you could visit us and follow. I would enjoy coming back to visit with you and seeing your wonderful ideas.
