Love at first... grade!

The hubby and I met...
*drum roll please*
... in first grade!
Yep, that's right. Among crayons, picture books and glue.

These are our first grade class pictures! Isn't he cute?

He was the boy in glasses and a Boy Scout uniform, I was the girl in a dress with bows in my hair. Kyle quickly became friends with my twin Mark throughout elementary school, but then moved out of the school district until we met again in high school.

Here we are at the Senior All-Night Party-- our first picture together after we decided to start dating!

Eventually we ended up going to senior prom together in 2005 as "just friends" (Mark claims he set us up but I'm not so sure!) and our friendship grew from there. We had a sweet summer romance that year-- but then were parted by long distance when we went our separate ways to college.

Managing to remain strong through two years of LD, Kyle switched to OSU his junior year and of course we eventually committed our lives to each other in 2010. ♥

So there's our fairytale love story!
Thanks for reading.
I'd love to know how you and your significant other met :-)

this is so sweet! I met my boyfriend when I was 15 working as a lifeguard and he was the manager. I was too young for him until I turned 22 and moved back home from college...we started hanging out and we have been together for 3 years:)

Oh man! Way sweet story to tell again and again (and hopefully great-grandkids eventually) I like it. Bigbad and I met in high school when I moved to NC. We began dating in college and married the fall after he graduated.

What a lovely story of how the 2 of you met. S and I met through an internet dating site. We emailed each other for a while and then progressed to phone calls and then finally I gave in a decided to meet him. It was obvious there was something between us before we met, but that first actual date sealed it for both of us and after a few months we decided to live together - now we are in the process of moving to LA. S is an American, but as myself and my boys are English, we cannot move until we get the visa through - hence my blog 'waiting to emigrate'. Life is hard because S has already moved to LA to start his new job and the boys and I are left here in the UK..Thank heavens for skype, thats all I can say!

Lou :-) x

That is so sweet! My husband and I met in College, dated for two months, got engaged, then married four months later. It's coming up on our eight year anniversary next month and we are crazy in love. Life's great that way :)
