A cookie with a surprise!

This afternoon, I'm going to attempt to make these delicious little guys:

It's exactly what it looks like: An Oreo inside of a chocolate chip cookie! Anyone ever try something like this before?

I hope mine turn out okay; we're going to visit my twin brother in Seattle this weekend (I'm so excited!), so I thought I'd bring him something yummy. I'm really hoping you can't see the Oreos from the outside, so that it's a surprise when he bites into them!

um that looks so so good! can you really just bake the oreo inside for the normal amount of time you bake cookies?

Don't let "death/cake scare you, lol. They're yummy! This was my first attempt at handmade cream cheese icing, and oooomygoodness it was good!

They actually turned out really well! And so easy! Just a glob of cookie dough on top of the oreo, and a glob on the bottom. And then you kind of smoosh (is that a word?) it around the cookie. But I will warn you-- they make very LARGE cookies :-)
